South London to the world.
The Soulful South London: The Past, Present and Future of Black Queerness digital display integrated the programme of Tate Modern Lates. This one-evening-only pop-up looks at generations of Black queer people in the region through archival materials from the Black Lesbian and Gay Centre and digital collections sit alongside new artistic work, creating a space to honour past achievements, amplify current talent, and imagine the shared visions and next steps for the community’s cultural and political future.
