roots ‘n’ rhythms
Ever wondered what being Black and Queer would look like in partner dance spaces? Look no further!
At Roots ‘n’ Rhythms, those identities are highlighted through heritage, community and culture at the centre. This second edition, in partnership with The Africa Centre, featured an open social of Queer Kizomba, a special class of Konpa, a music workshop with pioneers of Kizomba in Angola, as well as an updated version of The Library curated by Tsunami Tânia.
To also celebrate another successful 6-week round of our very own Queer Kizomba progressive course during UK Black History Month.
