Para Juntar was a day-long celebration of PALOP culture at The Africa Centre, featuring performances, workshops, screenings, and installations spread across different floors.
Highlights included Elisa Monteiro’s interactive showcase exploring Bissau-Guinean trans and queer experience, a screening of Rafaela A. Neto’s documentary IXI IETU, and The Library Corner spotlighting Afro-Lusophone history and talent.
Alongside DJs, guest braiders, community food stalls, and the launch of updated editions of Sabura zine and the Lisbon Black Guide, the event created a vibrant meeting point for the lovers of art and culture.
