alteridade:
nós e os nossos
Alteridade is understood as the quality of being other or different, and it also serves as a synonym for the past four years of sociocultural agitation and resistance expressed by an artistic collective spanning diverse creative practices, spaces, and individuals.
Four years ago, everything changed. Founded in Leeds, shaped in Lisbon, transformed in London, and navigating other diasporic spaces, The Blacker The Berry Project emerged within existing movements, calling for the intersection of inclusion and recognition for people with multiple marginalised identities through creative and social interventions.
In this special pop-up, presented at Galeria Zé dos Bois as part of the AnoQ Festival (Rádio Quântica),
we recall all these steps and milestones.
